Compas Life started out in 2013 as a simple vision between two friends to create apparel that embodies an inspirational message. In a rapidly shrinking world full of technological glory, we often forget to disconnect. Founders Tim Fealey & John Schildbach were both born and raised in Upstate New York and moved to New York City to pursue their careers. After many years in NYC, the two opted for a change. The brand began at a transitional time in their lives with both Tim and John leaving New York City to pursue new adventures. As we took root in our new homes, the Upstate of Mind™ was born. Whether Upstate New York or anywhere in the USA, the Upstate of Mind™ embodies the idea of breaking routine and embracing the beauty that surrounds us.
