Cute ornaments and decorations made out of all natural fibers!

I started Juniper Felts in 2023. I have a small flock of sheep, Jacob and Jacob/Romney crosses, up here in Smithville, NY. I have had sheep since I moved to this little farm in 1998. I have been spinning and knitting for years. I started felting about 5 years ago, and found that I just loved it.

I focus on the animals, birds, plants and fungi found here in NY state. My land is right up against a forest so we see a lot of wildlife. I have seen and heard horned owls, and the chickadees follow me to the feeders every morning. NY state is such a beautiful place.
I use wool from my sheep for most of my projects, and look for other fibers I need from NY as much as I can.

Examples are fiber from The Farm, in Fultonville. This is for white core and colors that I can’t make myself. Also West Creek Farm, in Tioga has merino top for my wet felting. Specialty fibers, like silk and viscose, I get from Sarafina Fiber Art.
