When a stylist and a cartographer fall in love and get married, what do they make (besides babies)? In the case of Brooklyn couple Rachel and Michael, they create Maptote, a line of products decorated with maps of locales both domestic and exotic. Inspired by a trip abroad, Maptote started in 2006 after the couple designed their first tote bag with a map of Brooklyn on it. Since then the line has grown to include accessories, pouches, apparel, baby onesies and gifts.

Still located in Brooklyn, NY all tote bags are made with USA grown cotton and cut, sewn, and printed locally by us in Brooklyn. In addition to the products in our line, we also love to collaborate with stores to create custom designs to give their location cool and unique souvenirs.
