After 20 years in the restaurant business, Rachel knows a thing or two about making food taste good. But what she really wanted was to help people make great food at home—without needing a long ingredient list, complicated recipe, or a culinary degree.

That idea became Rachel’s Spice Co., an Upstate New York business built around practical, flavorful blends that make everyday cooking easier. Rachel creates her spices with real home cooks in mind: blends that are versatile enough to use in more than one way and flavorful enough to make a simple meal feel like something special.

Rachel’s path to spices wasn’t exactly planned. She originally earned a master’s degree in education, but a part-time job in her family’s pizzeria turned into a 20-year career, taking her from delivery driver to owner. When she eventually stepped away from restaurants, she took all those years of experience with her—and turned them into something she could share from her own kitchen.

Today, Rachel and her husband, Dave, run Rachel’s Spice Co. from Upstate New York, creating blends meant to earn a permanent spot in your spice cabinet. Because good cooking doesn’t have to be complicated—it just needs the right flavor.
