Region: New York City
Website

Upstate Stock was founded on the belief that New York’s long tradition of manufacturing is still alive—and can be reimagined for today. The company is committed to local production, sustainable materials, and American manufacturing, creating products that reflect New York’s history while supporting its future.

Through partnerships with Recover Textiles, a leader in upcycled and recycled yarns, and the Mozaic Organization in the Finger Lakes, Upstate Stock works to make manufacturing more sustainable and inclusive. Mozaic employs a workforce that is 75% people with disabilities, helping create a model of production rooted in opportunity, craftsmanship, and New York pride.

The company continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities in New York, including a factory in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and apparel production in the Finger Lakes. From its own products to the many New York-made goods it supports, Upstate Stock is committed to keeping production local and showcasing the makers who make New York special.
